If we happen to be in Tompa not only to rush to the Serbian crossing point, it is definitely worth to take a walk and look around.
In Bárómajor, a hamlet of Tompa, we can find the Chruch of Saint Anne, a real tourist attraction: is looks like the Matthias Chruch in Buda, only smaller. The building is decorated with Zsolnay ceramic tiles on the roof, colourful stained glass and gargoyles.
Next to the church is the Romantic style Redl Castle and its huge park where we can even spot peacocks. Tourist wishing to see more green spaces should visit the renewed park in the city center or take a walk in the forest and grasslands around the city.
