Tour
Törösznek
From the forest railroad stop we drift to a dirty road in southeast direction. Cross over the bridge of Törösznek stream and walk past the forest. We continue our journey near the Lower Válicka eastward, Kámaháza and the cabin in the forest.
Lasztonya / Kámaházapuszta
This small “bag” village with nearly less than 80 people in its population has two separate parts. There is Alsó-Válicka between Lasztonya and Kámaháza. Kámaháza is located on the northern side of the stream, Lasztonya is in the south. At the forest house (forest railway stop) we turn southwest to the blue sign. We will arrive to Lasztonya through the stream.
Lasztonya - Lookout tower (Alternative evasive Torhai source)
Following the sings, after, we reach the bell to the right, and then we walk 50 meters to the small bell. A long climb follows the narrow grooves when turning south we reach the lookout. From the lookout we continue our journey on the blue sign.
Lower Válicka
The blue sign is left on the asphalt road. From here, we go through the unmarked road to the stream. Belonging to the watercourse, herbaceous plants lushing on wetlands are the determinants. Two brightly colored flowers can be observed here. Siberian iris (especially in the area of Kányavár) likes swampy meadows with variable water supply. Blooms in May-June.
The callus notes with its magician-like magenta flowers. There are 3-5 flowers that open from May until July to a stalk. At the crossing of Pördefölde we turn to Törösznek. We have arrived back to our starting point.
